After spending most of my life owning, working with, and just used to using Windows-based computers, I've officially made the switch to Apple last night upon receiving a new MacBook Neo. I've been resistant for years since once I find something I get used to, change becomes almost like performing a root canal on me. That said: why did it take me so damn long?
This thing is so much better than any Windows OS CPU I've ever used. I always thought it was just culty-hype shit but it really is much more user-friendly! I'm actually enjoying using my laptop for the first time in a while and I can see myself just sticking with this going forward. I don't know if I can ever go back to HP or Dell laptops again except for work.

The MacBook Neo was just released last month and apparently has been hard to find but at its price-point ($699 for the 512gb one like I have, $599 for the base model), it might be the one that gets more people into using MacBooks again. It's also just a fun little machine, reminding me of when the iMac G3 came out when I was a kid and how adorably funky they were. It's certainly going to take me a little bit to learn the nuances but I'm looking forward to it and excited about what else I can do now to better exercise both my creativity and productivity.
