Vsauce on retrospective aging [Something Interesting #37]

I saw this video a couple years from Vsauce about why people appear "older" in photos from the past but someone reposted it in context to a Reddit thread today about the actors who played Zelda and Hilda on Sabrina the Teenage Witch during the 90s. It's a fun explanation as to how this is an illusion known as "retrospective aging" and the face-name matching effect/the Bouba-kiki effect. It's well worth the 20 minutes to watch:
