National Poetry Day [Something Interesting #69]

Poetry is one of my biggest blind spots. Something I use to wave off as frilly and unimportant 20 years ago when I wanted to write prose, I'm slowly learning to appreciate poetry as its own unique ecosystem and would like to provide this post in recognition of National Poetry Day today with several different media (articles, videos, even some interesting poems I've seen on Reddit). I'm still in the beginnings of my poetry journey but hope this will provide some info and possible inspiration for you to celebrate the day:
