Getting back into the usual routine is taking a little bit of effort but am slowly getting into it. Work is starting to pile up (autumn is always when one of my major projects takes over my life until the holidays) so will be sparser with the updates. Might try to line up some journal posts during the rest of the week but also might just fly by the seat of my pants. It can go either way but I'm not too worried about all that.

Today's album is Decode Yourself by Ronald Shannon Jackson & the Decoding Society (1985), a weird jazz album that Spotify recommended to me this morning that I never heard of but am vibing hard with right now while writing this post... The featured video is a cute Droopy short made in the mid-to-late 1990s for Cartoon Network called "Thanks A Latte". - AB 9/4/25
