I had a roller-coaster of a weekend and a quiet Monday, hence the delay. The weekend is more of a private matter that I don't want to detail on a public-facing blog, so I won't be going into details here for you all. Ultimately, it ended on a good note, though, so I'll just say that...

My partner is away on business, so it's just me with the house, and I'm mostly finding ways to motivate myself to act like an adult. Catching up on albums and anime on my to-do lists may not have been the best way to do that (though I highly recommend Akane-banashi and am not sure how I feel about the new Ghost in the Shell...), but I'm doing what I can without driving myself nuts. I know there's been some major passings lately, but I don't have much to say about either Lindsey Graham (who was actively against everything I believe in) or Sam Neill (whom I only really know from Jurassic Park). Otherwise, looking forward to seeing who wins the next couple of World Cup games and just enjoying some summer downtime when not working.
