Still nothing major to delve into - mood is still somber and there's work to do, I would be remiss to not acknowledge that today has two special days attached of personal relevance: National Day of Cooking and National Comic Book Day.

While I might be a bit of a grumpus right now, there's still plenty to celebrate going around. Normally I'd post micro-post/Something Interestings for these but both subjects are almost too broad to do that without driving myself crazy (plus I lean towards discussing them through more specific topics), so I'll just post the Days of the Year entries and send you forth to discover these on your own:

I also tend to pre-empt my journal entries ahead of time and will keep to the currently planned schedule, which may/may not have any relevance to the two aforementioned days.
