I don't condone killing anyone but I also won't say I'm heartbroken by what happened yesterday. Words often weigh as much as actions and both carry consequences, especially when you are as reckless as this guy was. The only thing I regret about all this is that he now gets to be a martyr to those who share his gross beliefs instead of suffering what would've been a more poetic and just fate: growing old to have everyone openly sneering at him for being a pathetic loser. He contributed nothing worthwhile to the betterment of the world. The only people I see who mourn him are those who equally contribute nothing to making our world better and often work to make it worse.

On a more positive note, today's album is Party Doll and Other Favorites by Mary Chapin Carpenter (1999) and the featured image is from Ivana La. Both of these things are very relevant to today since it's a special day in my family and one I'd rather focus on instead of the news 👩‍👦 🎂 - AB 9/11/25
