One of the key things to deal with when coming back from vacations and other disruptions is getting back to the usual functions of life. We've been decompressing for the past week by playing Mario Kart World (which is fantastic, despite what internet people are complaining about) and slowly chipping away at the unpacking. The main plan for the weekend is to finalize the reset and get things back into order but I won't lie: taking things easy is wonderful. I don't suspect there's going to be too much more to add until Monday but if anything pressing occurs, expect an addendum or two here by Sunday. Otherwise, let me offer a pro-tip: two splashes of apricot brandy can really punch up a French toast recipe if applied right in the egg mixture.
