Hello, This is New Blog. Nice to Meet You.

This is my obligatory "Introducing this Blog" post. I've written these kinds of posts at least five times during the last twenty years, each on a different platform (Blogspot, Wordpress, etc.). The only blog I've had that's ever really stuck was a Tumblr from 2011 to 2016 but that was mostly due to obsessively re-blogging other people's content... So, yeah, trying this yet again.

The difference this time is that I'm going with a different tack. Ars Nihil is now going to be a two-part blog across a couple different platforms. It roughly breaks down like this:

1. Ars Nihil on Wix (here) - focuses on journal entries, half-formed thoughts, and drawing attention to things I find intriguing. This is the "fluffy" side.

2. Ars Nihil on Notion - focuses on longer writings and hosts what will eventually be a Desk Reference/Commonplace Book that will be available for anyone whose interested. This is the "meaty" side.

Whether or not I'm consistent with either of these remains to be seen but doing it this way does provide something closer to what I wanted from the beginning. I'm feeling bullish that this will work, though.
