If you write, you know how tough it is when you get in a rut. Worse is that there's a whole industry out there dedicated to writing advice that just murks things up sometimes (my advice is to start with Stephen King's On Writing and William Zinsser's On Writing Well - most others were hit-or-miss personally). While looking around a while ago, I found some good comments on Reddit that might help, specifically the ones with the writing exercises that I may/may not use myself for blog posts later in the year. Hope they'll help should you choose to use them.
Reminder: I'm currently taking a blogging sabbatical and this was a pre-planned scheduled post. If there's typos or mishaps, I'll take care of them once I'm back. Thanks for understanding! - AB
