Fun things I learned from this Nerd With Microphone video about animator Ladislas Starevich's 1937 movie The Tale of the Fox: 1.) The Disney version of Robin Hood was originally supposed to be focused on Reynard the Fox folk stories but Walt Disney found Reynard too unlikeable and 2.) Wes Anderson was cribbing hard from Starevich when he directed Fantasic Mr. Fox.


This movie looks wonderfully creepy, to be honest - I'll have to track it down sometime.
