Not a Halloween post but probably could be, I just caught up with the 4-parter a few weeks ago from Behind the Bastards about Francis Galton, the "father of eugenics." Who knew a wealthy sociopathic dork would come up with such a fucking stupid idea?

(His main adversary Alfred Russel Wallace, though, deserves a lot more recognition than he gets and seemed like a legitimately cool scientist.)
