Micro-post #207: Standards for being a butler, courtesy of The International Institute of Modern Butlers

While looking for more information about compiling a "butler's book" for my own household, I stumbled across this interesting PDF. First off, no idea that there's a school in Florida dedicated to training butlers. Secondly, some of this gives a good insight into what exactly butlers do, especially since most people don't make the kind of money to hire an army of household staff as they did back in the Gilded Age. Definitely an oddity, but the kind I like to share with people when I find them.
