Micro-post #198: "Todd in the Shadows" explains the awfulness of the Lou Reed/Metallica album "Lulu"

Last night was the first time I've ever watched anything from Todd in the Shadows, but my recommendations insisted I check out his "Trainwreckords" video about the Lou Reed-Metallica 2012 album Lulu. It didn't disappoint. I was glued for the full almost 40 minutes with this shadowy man by a piano explaining the exact reasons how far everything went off the rails with this particular collaboration. The back story's pretty interesting, but yeah, the final product is pretty hard to take for too long given how absolutely weird it is (and I say this while liking Lou Reed's music in general and being alright with Metallica overall).

I'm including both the video and the album itself (if you want to listen to it...), but I'd recommend just trusting Todd with this one...
