This one came out of the blue, since I really like Persepolis when I first read it back around 2007. She apparently died of complications from a broken heart (her partner died last year) so this feels doubly-tragic. She was very talented both in comics and film and if you haven't seen anything she's done (especially the movie version of Persepolis, which she also co-directed), please do so ASAP.
