One of my favorite websites from the last several years is The Creative Independent, which I found by accident while trying to learn more about zine-making. It's a pretty big site, though, and can be overwhelming since it has a whole bunch of different types of articles and interviews covering a wide range of creative fields (enough that they actually have a section called "Focuses" that collects their pages on specific fields or interests). That said, I still highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already and see where it takes you. The beautiful thing about it - much like creativity itself - is that the fun is in the exploration and the awareness that the rabbit-holes around you can yield interesting bunnies if you're willing to pull them out.

The articles posted here are some of my recommended jumping-off points, focusing primarily on the Guides and Essays. There's a lot of interviews and I may occasionally post them as separate micro-posts like I do any other article. From here, go forth and happy hunting!
