I was hoping to write more about this in greater detail this year since I have a personal story to tell but now cannot due to circumstances outside my control. I'll write to it next year once that situation has concluded. That said, this is still a very important day to note and I would like to do so. I hope if you're reading this that you will take the time to go through the websites below, remember those who died this year, keep them in your heart, and watch over those who are most vulnerable in this current climate.

Many of those who died deserved to live fuller lives - especially those who never were famous - and had people who loved and now miss them dearly. They should not be forgotten.

Note: This is probably one of the most important things I'll post to this blog. Just because I marked it as a micro-post, do not mistake this as being glib or diminishing - it's meant to make sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle and become ignored forever. While today is TDOR, remembering these people and preventing future victims of anti-trans violence is of critical importance.
